Unique with good food! This place is busy with locals during the livestock auctions. You get the idea that your meat could be very fresh. :) I really enjoyed my center cut 12oz sirloin. It was cooked as requested. I was stuffed after a trip to the salad bar (crisp lettuce) and a side of mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Ah, Texas toast. My sons had the buffet of fried chicken and spaghetti. They thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't leave hungry either. All three of us agreed the mashed potatoes were excellent. They had white gravy with their's. We did start with some of the best fried onion rings I've tasted. We all agreed these were a winner. They had a light crisp batter on them. I was happy to find out the lunch buffet is until 3 and is served Monday thru Saturday. We'll be back, and maybe I'll wear my boots so I fit in a little better. Ha

I really like this country style restaurant. The staff is really nice. The restaurant is small, so most of the tables are usually full at lunchtime. I had the hamburger seak with onions with brown gravy and mash potatoes. It was good and the price is very reasonable.

My mom and I had lunch here today and it was the best! Food was great and the service was top tier! Small town, welcoming atmosphere with good ol' home cooking! Can't go wrong with anything they have on the menu!

Here it is. One of those off the beaten path restaurants that is a mixture of country and class. The food was awesome. 8oz steak seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife got the buffett and loved the chicken and dumplings. The kids ate up the corndogs and the chocolate cake didn't even make the pictures because it was GONE. We will be back to Cow Talk Steakhouse.
